Guys, I can’t believe it, but she pulled it off.
Melissa would like to present proof that she managed to redo the edging on her Ravelympics project before the torch went out:
I am halfway through picking up stitches for the collar of my sweater, while I watch Russia’s introduction. I have a feeling if I knew the folklore that is being referenced I’d be a little less confused. Note to self: read up on Russia before 2014!

Well done you two!!! Please don’t hold it against us that we produced Nickelback and Avril – please focus on Buble and Michael J Fox instead!!! (Niiice screen btw!)

Well, there was also Alanis and the opening ceremony had Sarah McLachlan and I heard Natalie McMaster was in that crazed mass of drunken fiddlers, so I believe Canada presented a preponderance of evidence to prove that all of their musicians are not…scary. (I liked Buble until he started in with the half-naked fake Mountie chicks, which just made my inner feminist shriek.)
The screen is Melissa’s. Now you see why I spend so much time at her place.
